The Manton Fire Safe Council is a community-led organization with a mission to protect the people and property of Manton from the catastrophic effects of fire through prevention, education, cooperation and action. Its membership includes all people that call Manton home within the 96059 zip code. There is a board of directors that consists of a chair, vice-chair, secretary, treasurer, and projects-chair. The group aims to hold general community meetings at 6P on the second Monday of every month, open to all members to share in the process together.

MFSC is currently in the process of obtaining 501(c)3 non-profit status.
